Project Brief
Introduction
This module aims to deepen your understanding of people at work by exploring the job roles within business. The assignment requires you to find and examine a relatable role within a new company and, through your examination, to develop an in-depth understanding of professional skills relevant for your future employment.
For this, you will engage in group work and talk with industry professionals from various jobs and roles. You will also develop technical skills in industry-standard software.
Assignment Details:
In groups of 3, explore the critical roles within any new business concept (opened within the last 5 years) and analyse the essential responsibilities and daily skills they use at work.
Task 1: Poster Presentation (LO2, LO3, LO4)
– In your groups, create a range of “A day in the life of a…” posters highlighting your chosen roles, key responsibilities, technical skills, and general tasks to educate others about the roles within your chosen business.
– These posters should be created in professional standard software from Adobe and presented in class as your visual pitch.
Task 2: Explore & Reflect (LO1)
– Write an individual rationale explaining the why, what, and how of creating your poster.
– Justify crucial design choices and where you gathered your information.

– Please sign, date and attach the BSc Business Management Assignment Cover sheet to your assignment
BEFORE you upload it onto Aula.
– Use Ariel or Times New Roman (12 point) for the individual reflection, and double-space your work.
– Make sure you attach a reference list in the Harvard Referencing System.
